L-1 Zeppelin
Ferdinand von Zeppelin conceived rigid airship design in the late 19th century. When they began to be built at the beginning of the 20th century, his name was applied as a general term for these vehicles. The company Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-AG (German airship travel) flew the first commercial Zeppelins in 1910. As WW I approached Zeppelins were built for military reconnaissance and bombing missions use as well. Zeppelin LZ 14 was built for the Imperial German Navy and given the navy designation L-1. First flown late in 1912 it was lost in a storm over the North Sea the following September. The L-1 Zeppelin 3D model, provided as the historical navy version and an imaginary passenger version, is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people. Although designed for Poser, it is compatible with DAZ Studio (see ReadMe).
